While we all can’t directly go out and save the world from the Nazis, zombies, aliens, or the various terrorist groups/rogue nations in the COD worlds, these games do allow PlayStation players, Xbox series X players, and other console players to at least simulate the experience. The new gunsmith feature also includes an in-game firing range where players can try different guns before heading out on missions. It promises updated features and improvements like a new multiplayer map section, better mechanics for swimming and hanging from ledges, plus improved vehicle combat that lets players lean out a window to shoot or crawl onto the roof of a moving truck.Įarly access and beta players tell us that another new game mode enhancement in Modern Warfare II is a better gunsmith system that makes it easier to use various attachments to enhance certain play styles, and a gun “tree” that gradually increases branches and unlocks various options, like higher damage bonuses for using certain gun groups and a certain attachment.
